Von Essen hotels was recently named AA Hotel Group of the Year 2009-2010 at the glittering AA Hospitality Awards ceremony, held in September 2009.
This hugely prestigious award is presented annually in recognition of the hotel group that has a proven track record of striving to ensure the very best levels of service, food and accommodation across the range of properties. In five years of operation, von Essen has grown substantially with clear evidence of investment, recruitment of quality professionals and achievement of high standards. The group is subdivided into various sets which include classic, country, family, metropolitan and continental hotels, each offering a variety of stunning historic properties with distinctive character - from the small and intimate to the grand and gracious. Every UK hotel holds or has held a minimum of two Rosettes, with some achieving three Rosettes, and 10 of the properties have achieved Red Stars.
